The familiar landscape in winter of bare trees with their trunks covered in ivy. I like to think they’re a warm winter ivy blanket keeping hugging the trees for warmth. But they are familiar sights where we live in rural north Essex. Their shape and structure is for me a classic winter view, standing proud in the landscape.
