We’d been for an evening swim in the sea around 6pm, hobbling over the pebbles to sink into the sea with its steep drop off, with gentle waves that shoved us back onto the pebbles. With towels laid out with just inches between our neighbours we watched boats go out and back pulling parasailers behind them, and saw the giggling reaction of two Muslim women when a topless woman emerged from the sea in front of them.
